to provide an up-to-date intensive course on “hot topics” in cardiovascular medicine, covering Epidemiology, Risk assessment and Prevention, Major clinical problems, Imaging, Therapy, Lifestyle and Cardiovascular System, Cardiovascular adaptation to extreme conditions.
the Course is oriented preferentially to students in Medicine, as well as to PhD students and students of Schools of Specialization of the Medical and Cardiovascular Area from all EU and non EU countries. The Course is open also to post-doctoral researchers and senior researchers from Universities, research institutes, clinics.
Daily intensive lecturing (8 hours / day from june 19th to july 5th, monday to friday), providing an overall number of 15 credits. Credits will be acknowledged by the University of Pisa according to the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS), after attendance of the overall Course and submission of a small Thesis within december 31st, 2013. Partial attendance to the Course will give right to a number of credits proportionally reduced.
Teachers from the University of Pisa, Scuola Superiore S.Anna, National Research Council (CNR), Tuscan Foundation for Medical Research, and distinguished experts from other Italian and European Universities.
